“Full Circle – Cellos for Trees”: A Call to Action for Planting 10,000 Trees

We are excited to announce the release of the new single “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” from award-winning Irish cellist Clíodhna Ní Aodáin. 

This inspiring single is part of a global call to action to plant 10,000 trees, initiated by Clíodhna Ní Aodáin, founder of The Celtic Cello, and Brenda Neece, founder of The Cello Museum. Clíodhna Ní Aodáin has composed a multi-track cello piece as a call to action to plant 10,000 trees. 

This beautiful piece creates a virtual forest of cellos and trees, with each part of the song representing a different level of skill for cellists to play. From beginners to professionals, everyone is invited to join in and create the stunning visuals of a musical tree from the seed to the roots to the trunk to the crown. 

In addition to being an advocate of environmental regeneration, Clíodhna Ní Aodáin has drawn on her background in classical and improvised music to create a new genre that evokes the atmosphere of the Otherworld. 

Releasing “Full Circle – Cellos for Trees” on Earth Day 2023 is her way of encouraging her listeners to renew their appreciation of our precious earth.
